Couldn’t agree more for those of us in academia. Thinking about others careers though too and their struggles, I think the original author on this achieved what was intended- broadly applicable career advice with amazing food for thought.

Random idea, and I would like your honest opinion: I’m thinking about inviting students (only those I actually “know”) who can’t go home for Thanksgiving to come spend it with me. I usually cook a lot…for just myself.
