We were honoured to host the Learning for Sustainability Festival on behalf of St Luke’s Cluster on Friday. Pupils & staff from Barrhead, Neilston & Uplawmoor schools and family centres came together for a vibrant day of workshops, ideas & inspiration. 🌱👩‍🏫🤝📚@ERC_STEM #UNCRC12

P7a have been ‘Youth Sleuths’ with staff from Strathclyde University. They have been having fun with forensics, including fingerprinting, chromatography and DNA sequencing. @strathforensics @strathchem @ERC_STEM @roysocchem

Our children enjoyed leading a Food Waste workshop at the Sustainability Festival today. The festival was a great success and they were proud to have taken part in planning this festival, as well as learning more about how we can care for our common home. ⁦@ERC_STEM⁩

Congratulations to these amazing P6 pupils who represented the school today at Anniesland College for the GSC K-nex regional event. They effectively created a water wheel to transport water using a pulley system. Next steps Nationals in May!!! We are so proud of you ☺️ @ERC_STEM

In Numeracy, Primary 4 have been using questionnaires to collect data and exploring the ways in which our findings can be presented 📊📈 after creating tally tables we took our findings outdoors and collected and measured a range of natural materials 🌳🌿 @ERC_STEM

Our primary schools came into the department today to take part in the Creating Engineers Cluster Challenge. 8 teams worked hard to create their exercise bikes with functioning pedals. Well done to our winners from St. Joseph’s and our runners up from St. Cadocs. @ERC_STEM
