Thing is… us as fans will be furious and angered by another game with more dropped points. However, I’d say the players will be frustrated not to win but, feel a relief. It’s a tough Sunderland side who beat Chelsea and also drew with Arsenal. They had their chances but, not major if you think of it and the team will be fine with that. A long distance strike, a corner that wasn’t threatening Alisson, their deflected goal and a chance that only came from Liverpool chasing. The lads know they can do better but, I think to them it’s a step in a direction of being closer to stable. Yes, it’s a long way to go but, if anything the past few games have started to expose the individuals just as much as the structure.

There’s players out there who are taking playing for this football club for granted. Slot and co could be the problem and we COULD be nearing the end but also these players are part of the problem. Hardly anyone is fighting for him on the pitch which is a horrible thought.
