The second teaching case for the day is presented by Dr.Prinavin Govender from DUT. Prinaving is sharing his experience introducing ERP concepts to Accounting & Auditing students.

Our last conference day is dedicated to teaching cases. Teaching cases help academics to discuss and share experiences related to teaching enterprise systems. The first case is from Industrial Engineering and is presented by Pro. Olufemi Adetunji from the Univerity of Pretoria.

Our 3rd and last session for the day is by @WeidnerStefan from @SAPUCCMD. Stefan is briefing the African academic community on some of the global curriculum initiatives that might be relevant to the community.

The second presentation is on a new curriculum initiative for business process modeling and mining/intelligence using Signavio. The presentation is by Prof. Lisa Seymour (from UCT) & Hannah Sperling (from Signavio)

It's day 3 and our focus today is the curriculum. The first session is curriculum updates from the Cape Town SAP Academic Competence Centre (ACC) presented by our manager @GwamakaTM

The last session for the day is a report back from SAP Africa Academic Board. We'll hear what the different board members have been working on as part of efforts to safeguard the interests of the community.

Next is KPMG, one of SAP Partners. According to Sharmlin, KPMG is interested in building local SAP skills in order to minimize dependency on international contractors. The change in technology from ECC to S/4HANA has leveled the plain field for graduates.

The first session on day two is from the African SAP User Group (AFSUG). We look forward to hearing what SAP Customers (and employers) think about the digital skills demand and how together with academia we can work to create graduates with relevant skills for the industry.

Possible roles, technologies, and resources available to academics and students within the data analytics space

3rd presentation is on SAP cloud strategy with a specific focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). With the increase in demand for analytics skills, @SAPNextGen is working with @SAPUCCMD and ACCs (like @ESEFA_UCT) to make SAC available to academic institutions for teaching purposes

Next on the agenda is Ms. Mary Kimani from @SAPAfrica who is taking us through some of the trending technology topics and tools relevant in the African region that academics and students could benefit from keeping up with them.

We kick off our first session with an exciting presentation from @aerokathi from @SAPNextGen who walks us through the many SAP University Alliance's efforts in supporting academia to create relevant digital skills for the future.
