@cconnorrbb Has to be Lithuania? Feel like Scotland get drawn with them for every qualification

@StanCollymore Have thought this for a while now, the league buys the best players from abroad I think it’s fine to do the same with refs. Shipping local refs out for a better pay day hopefully makes it a more lucrative career and attracts a higher standard across Europe

I think a common sense solution for refereeing is to allow Pan-European refereeing.
UEFA pay every pro referee the going rate and they are randomly allocated games across the continent, except for their home nation. I'm sure sports lawyers would tell me this is restriction of trade but if referees buy into it it may be a useful experiment, even for a season.
Conspiracy theories then become so absurd that trust in refereeing can grow again. Right now, and perhaps the most important thing to come from the Coote video, is that a growing number of supporters genuinely believe referees are corrupt.
That's neither sustainable for the referee ( of which numbers are dwindling), the authorities ( where trust in what you see keeps you coming back), or the sport as the most watched on earth.

@BurpleMan Captain Chaos, I just laughed when he skied his second chance

The evidence that we changed things in that first half. Were more Klopp than Slot

@dcarberry94 Journo sounded like a complete walt, hopefully he gets zero joy out of Amorim once he makes the move

I fully take the blame for him scoring

An absolute shocker of a performance from Lamptey, he’s took several steps back since last I saw him.

@BurpleMan He was nearly flawless before ‘the incident’ last season. Confidence knocked a bit? But needs to be mentally tougher long term
