GM! This is a friendly reminder that everything is cyclical… I started my crypto journey in 2013, learning about $BTC from a friend and watching it jump from $100 to over $1000. This was my first bull run. I fell in love with $DOGE in 2014 because of the Reddit community & I had a blast drawing Doge memes. I was traveling at the time & everything I owned was stolen from me. I was in a dark place but creating and learning about crypto gave me a purpose again. I strongly felt crypto was the future. I bought a nice stack of Doge when it was $0.00022 and held it. BTC crashed from $1k to $200 in 2015. This was my first crypto bear market. In my gut, I still strongly believed in crypto & I accumulated BTC at these prices. My goal was to get 100 Bitcoin. Unfortunately, I quit my job to go back to school & sold most of my BTC instead of using a credit card, stupid me lol. Lesson: always trust your gut! In 2017, a new bull run emerged with Ethereum being the new amusement park for crypto. My Doge & other Alts were pumping. I swapped out some Doge & bought some $ETH, $NEO, $ADA, $XRP & other Alts. BTC hit $20k & all was perfect. Everyone starting building on ETH and ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) were all the hype. Unfortunately, most ICOs ended up being scams and lots of people lost absurd amounts of money. Crypto Punks, the first NFTs were minted in 2017 as well. Unfortunately I missed that boat. The next bear market struck in 2018. Bitcoin plunged to $3200 in Dec after hitting $20k the year prior. Some reasons that escalated the bear market & crypto winter were some exchanges being hacked and ICOs ads being blocked. Covid & quarantine hit in 2020. Like many, I dove back into nostalgia and old hobbies that had been ignored due to being stuck in the work grind. One of my best things about quarantine is that is got me drawing again and learning digital art. Scrolling eBay, I searched old sports cards that at the time were booming. I had sold off my collection years prior, something I deeply regret. Some grails that included rookies of Jordan, Kobe & LeBron. I came across some old Garbage Pail Kids on eBay and noticed Topps released a “digital collection”. This was the first big IP at the time to release an NFT collection on Wax blockchain. I missed the mint by 2 weeks but I met many great people and I was instantly hooked. One good friend that I met with GPK was @UsmanPatel_. He invited me into @NBATopShot and I was fortunate enough to mint Cosmic packs in June of 2020. Being a degen collector, I went overboard with buying packs but it was fortuitous when everything boomed in Feb of 2021. I was beyond excited about the first NBA licensed digital collection. I minted @spacebudznft in March of 21 on #Cardano & I’ve been a believer since. Everything was thriving in the bull market of 2020-2021. Top Shot & NFTs were on fire. BTC hit a new ATH of $68k in Nov 21 and all was good… until it wasn’t. Similar to the ICOs on ETH, NFTs brought in many scammers and rug projects. Where there is money to be made, there will always be bad actors trying to take advantage. Always be smart and do your due diligence. Another bear market hit in 2022 and it has continued into 2023. BTC hit a low of around $15k in Nov of 22 but it has been in the 20-30k range for most of year. Most Alts have suffered even worse. Most NFTs have also been struggled and many projects hace already left. So when is the next Bull run? It’s hard to say exactly but the next Bitcoin halving is in April. That’s been an indicator & catalyst of bull runs in the past. I don’t know when it’s coming but I know it’s coming. I’ve already experienced 3 crypto bull/bear cycles & they will continue. How should you prepare for the next bull run? This isn’t financial advice but I know what I do. Be patient, be calm and be kind. Try and not let the down cycle affect your mood and logic. Accumulate cryptos and NFT projects that you believe in for the longterm. Keep it simple.

Bad news, citizens! Both the ETH-MEN and TEZ-MEN website are down for maintenance. We are rewriting the ETH-MEN one from scratch so it might take a fair bit to have it back up, sorry for the inconvenience. God save the Emperor, Citizens!

@naturevrm @pranksy @ross_dallbricht We then migrated to a more gas effective solution with the 2.0, as when the project started eth was cheap but gas became quicly crazy expensive.
