@nenshi She has said she supports independence within Canada, just because she allows a democratic process like citizens bringing forward a referendum for separation does not mean she is promoting it. You are just afraid that you will lose your job and real democracy is put into place.

It’s critical that everyday Albertans, and proud Canadians, stand up to Danielle Smith and reject separatism.

🚨 BREAKING: A Liberal MP sent this text to Conservative MP Billy Morin today: “Wondering if u ever had any reflections on what it would mean or wish to explore the dark side… We do want to grow our caucus to 7 preferably 8.” Read that again. “The dark side.” That’s a sitting government MP, texting an elected opposition member, asking him to abandon the people who voted for him. Not because of policy. Not because of principle. Because they want to hit a NUMBER. 7 preferably 8. They’re shopping for MPs like they’re filling a baseball team roster. Morin said NO. He called it a “shameless power grab in the face of democracy.” He’s right. 5 MPs have already crossed. Globe reported 8 more being courted. Canadians voted for a MINORITY government. Carney’s team is in the text messages of opposition MPs trying to get a majority Canadians never gave him. THE LIBERALS TURNED CANADA INTO A BANANA REPUBLIC.

@MarkJCarney When I was younger minimum wage was for entry level jobs, not to be used as main source of income. Higher rates of inflation due to Liberal taxes, other policies are main problem. All this does is make it impossible for businesses to hire teens to train.

🚨 BREAKING Two senior officials overseeing elections inside the National Police Federation, Canada’s largest police union with 20,000 RCMP members, just resigned. Their resignation letter accuses the board of: “Interference” in the election process “Pressure” to control outcomes Backing “handpicked candidates aligned with a planned succession of power” “Stripping” the elections committee of independence Suspending their credentials Denying them access to election materials Meanwhile, a separate court filing alleges $3.39 MILLION in union dues were paid to board directors, including president Brian Sauvé, without alerting the membership. This is the union that represents every RCMP officer in Canada. And it can’t even run its own elections without allegations of rigging. If this is what happens inside Canada’s national police union, imagine what’s happening everywhere else.

@cranium243 @KootenayWanders @DanMazierMP To an extent Province is responsible but also depends on partial funding from Feds. I find it interesting that people are complaining on debt now, which includes a $2 billion increase to health care, that people tend to think you can pull doctors and hospitals out of thin air.

BREAKING The Liberals, NDP and Bloc Québécois have voted against our Conservative motion to cancel taxpayer-funded, premium health benefits for REJECTED asylum claimants. That means failed asylum seekers, who the government's own Refugee Board rejected, will continue to get premium health benefits until they leave Canada (whenever that may be). According to the government, these free, premium health benefits include: Vision care, counselling, assistive devices, home visits, nursing homes, transportation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and interpretation services. Canadians who have paid into a healthcare system their entire lives don't even receive these benefits. What other country gives premium health benefits to people it tells to leave? No wonder the Parliamentary Budget Officer revealed the Interim Federal Health Program will cost taxpayers over $1.5 BILLION every year.

@cranium243 @KootenayWanders @DanMazierMP False. In fact there has been an increase of about 1,000 acute care beds, an increase of 6,500 continued care beds. The shortage is from rapid growth as we have gone from 2.11 beds per 1000 population to 1.75 1,000.

@KootenayWanders @ETomMoore1 @DanMazierMP The difference being that provincial governments fund health care for Canadians, while the federal government pays for refugees. In theory, it's two different "buckets" of money.
