From climate change to antimicrobial resistance, Europe is facing increasingly complex and frequent threats to health and wellbeing.

@ECDC_EU, @EU_ECHA, @EUEnvironment, @EFSA_EU and @EMA_News are working together to ensure that scientific advice and publications by EU agencies are increasingly integrated and aligned with the One Health approach.

The ECHA’s Biocides Committee (BPC) concluded that #ethanol may be approved for use in hand and general disinfectants. The Committee did not take a position on whether it should be considered a carcinogenic or reprotoxic substance. Read the news - fcld.ly/ethanol26

A recent EU-wide enforcement pilot project on poison centre notifications found: ▶️ 19% of the inspected hazardous mixtures were not reported to poison centres ▶️ In 15% of the inspected mixtures, the required UFI code was missing Read the report 🔗fcld.ly/forumpc26
