Today we honour Black feminist scholar, #bellhooks, who passed away this morning at age 69. Our approach to education is inspired by her work, specifically her texts "Teaching to Transgress: Education as the Practice of Freedom" and “Teaching Community: A Pedagogy of Hope.”
