I don’t take the W lol. I simply think the chiefs are viewed under a microscope differently and Twitter reactions aren’t always in the scope of the rest of the league. To me, yesterday they outplayed the bills badly and the bills having a chance to win was fortune in its own right. 8 turnover worthy plays, McDermott was awful and JA didn’t have his best. Bills lost this game when they refused to run early. I wanted the bills to win so bad though…

The amount of coping Chiefs haters do when the Chiefs win is laughable. Anytime the Chiefs get a call that goes their way, it affirms their confirmation bias that the refs rig it for the Chiefs to win. I’m embarrassed to say I used to do the same exact thing when the Pats dynasty was going on. They kicked the Steelers ass in every big game. It’s easier to tell yourself it’s the refs helping them out instead of admitting the team you hate has the better QB, better coach, more prepared, more disciplined team etc. Winners win games and losers focus on winners.

I think Dan is suggesting Mahomes is just taking advantage of the current rules of the game. I don't love the analogy tho, because those basketball rule changes made the game better and more exciting. The rules Mahomes is trying to take advantage of have made the game worse, and like you said, it's just cringe to watch players flopping. I don't care what sport or what the rulebook says, I don't like seeing it.

When you put it that way, I think I might actually hate KC too😂 I like Mahomes as a person and appreciate his talent. Reid and Spags are both great. The competence of the two coaching staffs is actually the key difference between Buffalo and KC imo. (I'm not a fan of McDermott) But you're right about the rest of the Chiefs. I was sick of Kelce even before the Swift era.

I love Mahomes but the baiting for flags and shit is super cringe. Completely agree. I like Mahomes, Reid, and Spags but the rest of the chiefs team is a bunch of clowns. Kelce, Rice, Chris Jones not a fan of any of them. Then you got the whole Taylor Swift shit too. Definitely get why people hate the Chiefs. But you still gotta respect their dominance and not cope and say it was the refs.
