Great to be out the museum and having a saunter through Glasgow last week with @crer_scotland exploring the city's links to the slave trade and abolition movement. So interesting to have these histories made visible in the architecture of the city today. Thanks again!

When we last visited the @DLivingstoneBP museum we asked our volunteers to pick out what interested them. We are making our own tour and so we are thinking about what draws us, what more we would like to learn about it, and how to share our ideas. This was Ume's pick:

Today we join over 100 Scottish organisations in speaking out against the UK Gov’s cruel #RefugeeBanBill. This proposed law slams the door on vulnerable people, survivors of trafficking and people fleeing from war and oppression - @justrightscot @scotrefcouncil #RefugeeBan

🌻🏛 Announcing our T&D residency! We're partnering with @DLivingstoneBP for workshops, talks, training and more. We value long-form, reciprocal dialogue between community groups and heritage organisations and can't wait to share what our group get up to in the coming months!

@CyclingUKScot @WeAreCyclingUK Incredibly disappointed this scheme will end - our community of asylum seeking & refugee women have benefited from this. We do hope that @transcotland puts measures in place to support people to continue travelling by bike, more so with Scotland's ambitious active travel plans.

We are hugely disappointed that Transport Scotland has decided not to provide funding for the Scotland Cycle Repair Scheme (SCRS) for 2023/24. It is Scotland’s largest ever cycle repair scheme, having provided more than 78,000 free repairs since launching in summer 2020. (1/5)

It’s sad to see in a modern society people want to obstruct a woman’s choice. Abortion is a healthcare & this is the hardest decision for a woman to make but is her body & no one should make this decision for her. Buffer zones legislation needs to be prioritised #WomensRights
