Whose job is it to identify the blitz. Jalen is mostly in shotgun or pistol every down. No one is appearing out of nowhere to surprise the QB.
It’s the QB job to identify the blitzer, his job to slide protections to pick up the blitz, his job to make a hot read to throw to the open space.
Jalen did not have his back turned and then the rusher just appeared. Jalen should have seen it the entire time.

Throwing the football on time means not getting sacked.
When injured, you know getting rid of the ball is your only option to avoid a sack.
He was sacked 8 times with the best OL in football. Maybe if he could read a blitz, adjust protections and make a hot read, there would be TDs and not sacks.

The safety was awful, with the bad knee, he attempted an athletic move, remembered he couldn’t execute that move due to his knee, and then fell down for the safety.
