OTD 17th March 1972 #Horslips held the #JohnnysWedding release party at Captain America’s, Grafton St Dublin. It was their first single. The clipping appears to mention “The LP” HTMSTP which of course Charles designed but I understand Eric helped with liner notes.

I rediscovered this today. The Táin CD signed by the band, and by its producer Alan O'Duffy. Alan, RIP, added his signature in Belfast July 2010 while working on "Terry Wogan's Ireland”. Alan produced Happy To Meet, The Táin, The Book Of Invasions, Aliens.

The Táin on Red Vinyl - Dublin Wed March 4th 7:30 pm. Ahead of RTE Choice Awards Night this looks like a social event to listen along with Horslips and get your Táin Dearg Disc LP signed. Registration required - limited spaces - free entry. Horslips Facebook for details
