Let alone the FIA itself attempted to change the rules before 2021 started as soon as they realized Mercedes was gonna be impacted instead of RB, and when they couldn't, they made sure to do so during the season, breaking the record for most mid season changes 💀

The FIA literally changed the 2022 regs to suit Mercedes because they were complaining so much so they introduced a TD in spa wi h backfired massively and they got even slower and RB & Ferrari got faster.
