It’s part of the current asymmetry of US politics that the GOP winning the popular vote by a 2 percent margin can get represented as an epochal landslide and cause for a staggering mandate, whereas the reverse would never be interpreted that way

@ScottApogee I had managed to snag a copy from a shareware bin before you pulled it. I loved the remake just as much as the original.

I was a huge Jumpman fan on the C-64, made by Randy Glover. So when Dave Sharpless showed me his work on a remake I was super excited to help him finish making it. I knew that the original publisher, Epyx, had gone outta business, so I assumed that the rights were public domain.
But a few months after releasing the remake, Jumpman Lives, in 1991, attorneys contacted us saying they owned the rights, and they weren't willing to work a deal with us so we had to pull the game.
A real shame because the game was a perfect remake that played and felt exactly like the original.

I’ve been doing door knocking in North Carolina and my biggest takeaway is the media and pundits have completely underestimated how much women’s reproductive rights are a motivating factor in this election. It has not in any way received the amount of attention it warranted.
