Citizens Police Academy starts tonight at 6pm! Hope you guys are as excited for it as we are!

🚨🚨🚨RESTRICTED PARKING FOR MEMORIAL DAY PARADE🚨🚨🚨 NO PARKING signs have been placed along the parade route. Vehicles parked in violation face ticketing and towing. Parking restrictions will be in effect on Monday and will end upon the conclusion of the parade.

🚨 Reminder 🚨 Join us tonight at 5:00pm for a memorial ceremony at the EPPD station, 750 Waterman Ave, as we gather during Police Week to remember and honor our members who have served the department and have since passed. 📍 750 Waterman Ave 📅 5/17/23 🕰️ 5:00pm

Please join us outside the police station on Wednesday, May 17th, for our Police Memorial Ceremony. The event is open to the public and will begin at 5:00 pm.

Peace Officers Memorial Day was designated May 15th of each year by President John F Kennedy in 1962. Officers from across the country gather in Washington DC this week as the names of those lost are added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.

This week the East Providence Police and officers across the country celebrate National Police Week. This is a time to remember the officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and support the survivors of those officers.

📣TRAFFIC ADVISORY ALERT FOR SUNDAY📣 The Providence Marathon will commence this Sunday morning at 7:30 am. A large portion of the course will occur in EP on city roads and the East Bay Bike Path. Please be courteous of runners and race organizers throughout the city.
