UAE's decision of Pakistani Citizens' deportation in Pakistan's style 🔴 There have been reports suggesting that authorities in the United Arab Emirates have taken measures affecting Pakistani citizens. While the details and scope of such actions can vary, situations like these often raise broader concerns about how government policies impact ordinary people. As a principle, government decisions whether driven by security concerns, political differences, or policy changes should be implemented in a manner that minimizes harm to peaceful and law-abiding individuals. Deportation may be justified in cases where a person is proven to have violated the law or posed a genuine threat to the host country. However, when individuals who have lived, worked, and contributed positively to a society are affected without due consideration of their circumstances, the consequences can be deeply distressing and disruptive. 👉 This issue resonates strongly on a personal level. I have experienced a similar situation when the #Pakistani government forcibly deported us who had lived peacefully in Pakistan for decades many for over 45 years. These individuals were hardworking, law-abiding members of society, yet they were expelled under extremely harsh conditions, often without the opportunity to take their belongings or secure their livelihoods. The policy, largely driven by political tensions with the #Taliban government, resulted in widespread suffering among ordinary people who had no involvement in such conflicts. Such actions raise serious humanitarian concerns. The forced displacement of long-settled communities, particularly without adequate safeguards, due process, or respect for human dignity, represents a deeply troubling precedent. It highlights the urgent need for policies that balance national interests with compassion, fairness, and adherence to fundamental human rights. Ultimately, regardless of nationality, ordinary people should not bear the burden of political disagreements or policy shifts. Humane and just treatment must remain at the core of any government action, especially when it affects vulnerable populations who have already endured significant hardship. #UAE
