@DjariiAfterDark I would a do a shrimp and rice dish. Rice takes 15-20 minutes tops, and Sautee the shrimp and veggies in 10 minutes. Total time and effort is 20 minutes tops

It’s Mother’s Day. While celebrating her today, my mom started talking about my grandma. How she never hugged her or said “I love you” but she always knew she did. I said, “but you hugged me and told me you loved me though.” She paused and said, “no, actually. You taught me that.” Apparently when I was little, I walked up to her and said you’re supposed to hug me and tell me you love me. She didn’t learn it from her mother. She learned it from her daughter. We laughed about it. I didn’t know I was that vocal back then. But underneath the laughing was something quieter. The sadness of a woman who wasn’t held enough. The gratitude of one who decided to hold anyway. And somewhere in between, a little girl who just wanted a hug.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Thank you ma for rewriting the pattern.
