It's almost certainly based on this render made for Spyro 1, which is interesting.

By swapping some files around in the E3 demo of A Hero's Tail, I got an early model of (presumably) Tomas to appear. He's got basic NPC animations which is pretty cool to see. #SpyroAHerosTail #SpyroTheDragon

Hey y'all, I'll be streaming the #SpyroAHerosTail multiplayer mod with some friends on my YouTube channel (check bio) at around midnight CET time (give or take a few hours) on November 2nd. We'll see how many crashes I managed to fix, or if I just broke the mod even more...

@jameshaden7 They react to Spyro's attacks and even have special animations for getting electrocuted, so he very likely would've encountered them at some point in development.

@EbbeAHT i always found it interesting that Spyro himself never gets to face against these guys and only Hunter and Blink do

@WalkerEl81677 It's not uncommon, the level was probably a big challenge to design since it isn't sectioned into rooms like other levels. The layout isn't too intuitive and everywhere looks pretty samey.

@EbbeAHT I never personally played this but I have distinct memories of my younger brother being stuck on this fuckass level for like an entire day back when we were kids lol
