@zaracraves I work in special education and it's super super important to work on boundaries and tell autistic kids when they do something wrong!!!! Neurodivergent kids struggle more with knowing what is harmful behaviour and that's why we need to teach them! Not ignore the behavior!

Americans think they can homeschool their kids even though they have no number sense and thus get completely confused by elementary math. The fact that you don't understand elementary math anymore shows the weakness of educating children through rote memorization.

@krasmazovswife @HillcrestCardCo It wants you to rearrange the numbers to turn 8 or 9 into 10. If 9+1=10, then we would need to do 8-1=7. Instead of 9+8 the equation becomes 10+7

@thechosenberg When I was in high school I had such severe anxiety that I couldn't use the washroom in public. I could try, but nothing would come out. But I never had an accident...I would just hold it ( for up to 12 hours). Now I'm on anxiety medication and things are much better

@LaPistolaDulce Parents need to be teaching their kids about safe protected sex, pregnancy, and STIs!! Parents should also be ensuring that their child has hobbies to keep them occupied! A 12 year old should be busy! Clubs and sports and hobbies help them not want to have sex too young

This shouldn’t be normalized because it’s not normal.
That’s not “just how things are,” that’s a failure somewhere: whether it’s protection, guidance, or accountability. A child shouldn’t be raising a child. You can have compassion for them and still refuse to act like it’s normal.

@ChrisSpoke I appreciate the heritage rules. In other major cities they actually have heritage structures and quaint pedestrian focused neighborhoos. In Toronto many many heritage structures are just being completely bulldozed.
