Most perp projects launch a points system, ask users to trade, and stop there. The experience becomes repetitive very quickly. Users farm volume, chase rewards, and eventually lose interest because nothing about the platform feels memorable. Decibel took a completely different approach. Instead of treating trading like a mechanical activity, they built an entire ecosystem around it.
