I have this thing where I work best under pressure. Give me a tight deadline and I’ll deliver. (𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐥?😩)
Give me two weeks and I’ll spend the first ten days convincing myself I still have time.
This is not the case when I have work Deadlines, deliverables, back-to-back tasks — I handle all of it.
𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐭’𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥? 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐄? 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐭.
This project has been sitting in my head for a while. I knew what I wanted to do. I just kept pushing it. Until I finally said okay, let’s do this.
And here we are. Still not done, but it’s alive. 😩
I think a lot of us do this with the things we actually care about. We give our best energy to everything else and leave our own ideas on the back burner.

That’s literally how it might work, I guess.
