・故意ではなかったが、そのまま立ち去らずヒヨコを抱き上げる
・貯めていた10ルピーを手に、病院へ駆け込み「助けてほしい」と訴える
・しかしヒヨコはすでに死んでおり、処置は不可能だった ■少年の思い
・少年は「お金を払えば治せる」と信じ、全てを差し出そうとしていた
・結果を理解しきれず、「もっとお金を持ってくる」と話していたという ■広がる反響
・責任を取ろうとする純粋な行動に、多くの人が感動
