Finally, definitive proof that Roblox used AI for their heads. Thank you for bringing attention to this.
I'd like to know why Roblox's own employees resorted to AI for the face conversions? Are they incapable of doing this work themselves? Not that it should be particularly difficult for a multibillion dollar company to find and hire competent people.
The failed dynamic conversions have sent ripple effects through Roblox like I have never seen before. Now I'm hearing talk about someone launching a lawsuit over the botched conversions.
REMINDER: Roblox is forcing creators of 2D static heads to update all of their heads to be dynamic, or have the item taken off sale. There are many creators that face losing significant income, or all of their income over this.
Roblox themselves cannot properly do the work they are forcing creators to do. Let that sink in. What the hell is going on at this company?

I have a private toolchain that lets me load Roblox's dynamic heads into Blender, and yeah... they definitely used the Avatar Setup tool for a lot of these. The weight-painting and joint names seem very... automated.
