update: AquaLock 💧 just got its first paying customer. $4.99. from Uruguay. after using the free version for 6 days before even starting the trial. 37 days from $0 to not-$0. it's not $10k MRR. it's one person who decided Gota is worth keeping alive. #buildInPublic

Which on-call tool do you swear by? → PagerDuty → OpsGenie → Grafana OnCall → Custom Slack bot What's the one alert you wish you could delete? #SRE #DevOps

The most powerful use case: alert triage. Your monitoring tool crosses a threshold → calls the routine API → Claude pulls the stack trace, correlates with recent commits, opens a draft PR with a fix. On-call reviews a solution instead of starting from scratch at 3 AM.

Anthropic just launched Claude Code Routines 2 days ago. I've been testing them — and they genuinely change how I automate work. Here's what developers need to know (and how to set them up in 5 minutes): 🧵

The 19€ That Changed Everything 1 year ago, I made my first online sale. I was sitting in a restaurant when Stripe buzzed: 19€. Not a friend. Not a favor. A real customer. I just stared at the screen. Because for weeks, we’d launched to the void: → No signups → A trickle of traffic from emails → Zero traction We built something useful. Launched an affiliate program. Posted in forums. Kept grinding. Still, nothing. The doubts crept in: “Is this good enough?” “Should we pivot?” “Are we just shouting into the void?” But we didn’t quit. We kept showing up. And that single 19€ sale changed everything. It wasn’t about the money. It was about the proof. Proof that someone out there found us, trusted us, and paid to solve their problem. That tiny Stripe notification flipped a massive internal switch. I stopped tweaking buttons. I stopped chasing perfection. I started selling. And once you get that belief… you move differently. 1 year later, the SaaS is still alive. Still growing. And I’m building the next one. Again from zero. In public. Coming soon. Let’s see what the next Stripe says. Follow along. 🤌 ***the restaurant where it happened

🎭 Not every lead should trigger a notification. Built an n8n workflow that filters incoming leads, sends verified ones to Slack, and stores incomplete ones separately. Simple system, but improves focus and data quality.

Monitoring tools compared — what you actually get for your money: Uptime Robot — just forced legacy users onto $348/year Better Uptime — starts at $20/month Datadog — don't even ask Uptime Kuma — free, but you're running it yourself @ObservareOps — £5/month, everything included: ✓ Uptime, SSL, port & cron monitoring ✓ Process & Docker monitoring (from inside your network) ✓ Slack, Discord, SMS, email & webhook alerts ✓ Public status pages ✓ Stripe webhook logger & replayer ✓ No feature tiers. No $X/seat. No legacy pricing surprises. observare.co.uk #IndieHackers #SaaS #DevOps #Monitoring #BuildInPublic #SoloFounder

Website and API monitoring tools are overcomplicated. Most users don’t need dashboards with 50 metrics. They just need: 1. uptime check 2. instant alert when it breaks That’s why I’m building PingAlytix 👉 pingalytix.com

Echobell - Phone call alerts for webhook and email
@zapfinity 100% agree on keeping it simple. One addition for that webhook → notification step: if it's truly critical, route it to a phone call instead of Slack. Echobell does this on iOS — webhook in, real phone call out. Cuts through Focus mode when Slack won't. echobell.one

Stop trying to build "brains." Most business problems don't need a complex AI agent. They need a basic webhook, a JSON filter, and a Slack notification. Simplify the flow. Fix the data. Get paid. #AIAutomation #n8n

I just received a Slack notification the moment I added a new contact in HubSpot. Small moment. Big shift. Here's what I built: → HubSpot integrated with Slack via Zapier → New contact added → instant Slack alert, automatically → Zero manual follow-up. Zero missed leads.

@katarinaore Congrats! That first payment notification hits different. What was your conversion strategy, organic traffic, Product Hunt, or something else? I've shipped 8 iOS apps and getting those first paying users is always the hardest part.

The only problem I have with TradingView is that, despite visiting their official website and consulting ChatGPT, no matter what I check or how I configure it, my TradingView (iOS) never receives an alert notification everrrrrr. Why is that? Absolutely terrible! #trading
