@yeahyeahmk1 Hello Matt, the Product does not immediately dissolve in water. The clay-like granules will typically break down over the course of 3-5 weeks. The more water the area receives the quicker the granules will breakdown

@yeahyeahmk1 Scotts Turf Builder Weed Prevent doesn't break down immediately but slowly degrades over the course of 3-5 weeks. To break the product down it needs to be watered well after applying. Watering moistens the clay-like granules which help them to begin to break apart.

@quentinyarolem Check with your local recyclers to see if they take the bags. These must be washed out prior to recycling. Once washed out, recycle wherever plastic grocery bags are accepted for recycling.

@hammetjohn Hello, If you are using the product around plants, rinse the plants with water before use. This is important to help prevent damage if the product comes in contact with the plant. If you suspect that the plants came in contact with the product, rinse the plants immediately.

Just opened a 6 quart container of your Natural & Organic Moist Potting Mix, which I purchased at Lowe’s in NYC. As soon as I opened the bag, gnats flew out to greet me. Since they no longer have stores in NYC, and I can’t return it, what is your solution, please? @EcoScraps

@NickPSalisbury Product bags used for Ecoscraps products must be washed out prior to recycling. If bag is not washed out it cannot be recycled and will likely contaminate other bags preventing other items from being recycled. Recycle wherever plastic grocery bags are accepted for recycling.
