I hasten to extend my heartfelt sympathies and sincere condolences on his passing away Dr. Chelingi.A great champion,a legend, an inspiration to the African,he left behind a legacy that transcended borders and barriers, race and religion and had an impact on the lives of people.

Dear Colleagues I have received with deep sadness the news of passing away of Dr. Joseph Chelingi, the former president of the Economic, Social and Cultural Council of the African Union (AU ECOSOCC) and the current ambassador of Zambia to Turkey .
