Most of us want to live in peace, yet we commit a fundamental error: we believe our personal peace can exist separately from the peace of others. This illusion is the root of the problem. When we witness injustice happening to others and choose silence, we think we have "chosen peace." In reality, we have chosen nothing at all; we have simply avoided making a choice. Wars do not disappear because we turn our backs on them; they merely move from one place to another, from Africa to Europe, from Europe to the Middle East, and tomorrow they will knock on a new door. Neutrality in the face of injustice is not peace; it is merely postponing war. The coward does not remain simply afraid; he begins to justify his fear until it becomes a principle by which he lives. He convinces himself that submission is wisdom and that surrendering his rights is a reasonable price for tranquility. Then he goes further: he starts condemning anyone who refuses to kneel as he does, labeling them an "enemy of peace" because they would not accept humiliation. The overwhelming majority of people are afraid to defend what is right, while the criminal minority has become bold in committing injustice. Why? Because they have realized that no one will hold them accountable. The cowardice of the majority has granted them an open license. True peace requires us to understand a simple truth: either everyone lives in peace, or no one truly lives in peace. Everything else is just a temporary truce in which we await our turn.

The lesson from WW2 wasn’t that Germans were uniquely, genetically, evil. It was that a small group of evil fascists can easily manipulate entire populations, and if we’re not careful it will keep happening. In the case of Zionists, they had an extra tool at their disposal - the very real, generational trauma that all Jews carry with us after the Holocaust. Zionism has successfully weaponized that trauma by convincing ~half of all Jews across the planet that we are always the victims, and the entire world, especially Arabs, are out to annihilate us. It’s a complete fiction, but it’s based on the tragic reality of more than half of the global Jewish population being wiped off the face of the earth during WW2. I honestly don’t know if non-Jews comprehend what it’s like growing up with that baggage. It’s devastatingly formative to say the least. And that’s only the reality that serves as the foundational layer underneath the mountains of brainwashing. Remember, as Jews we aren’t taught about the Nakba in school. We aren’t taught that Palestinians simply want peace and self determination on their homeland. We aren’t taught about the immense suffering that Palestinians have endured. And we certainly aren’t taught that that suffering came from our hands. We aren’t taught that for generations, Palestinians have tried everything including diplomacy, compromise, concessions, and peaceful demonstrations. And with no options remaining, yes, they resorted to violence to fight for basic human rights and even mere survival at multiple points over their ~90 years of brutal oppression and occupation. Instead most Jews are taught about “terrorists who want to kill us because Islam teaches them to hate all Jews”. Thankfully, I never internalized that lesson as a young Jew. Instead I internalized the lesson that normal people can be very easily manipulated into committing unspeakable atrocities. You and I live in North America in 2026, and yet we see these same patterns emerging. Today, multiple innocent groups of millions or even billions of people are being demonized as enemies of the state. We appear to be incapable of learning lessons from the past, so we stand idly by en-masse as we commit the same historic atrocities to a slightly different tune 😞😢
