Unfortunately Ed Berncich lost his next match in heartbreaking fashion in essentially a 4th OT. A sad end to a remarkable high school career. 2 time state qualifier and undeniably the best PHS wrestler since 2012. @kodoherty22 @JustGusPD @DaltonJ_Johnson @LondonSundell

After the first day of wrestling at the NCS tournament, Petaluma Trojan Ed Berncich (287) went 2-0 to reach the quarterfinals. Spencer Madison Castillo went 2-1 and is still alive in the consolation bracket. @EdBerncich @JustGusPD @kodoherty22 @LondonSundell

At VVAL wrestling, Petaluma Trojans Spencer Madison-Castillo (115) and Ed Berncich (287) both took 1st place. Fellow Trojans Gavin Jones (128), Zack Bettencourt (159) & Trevor Dunn (177) all finished 3rd, qualifying for NCS as well next week. @kodoherty22 @JustGusPD @EdBerncich

At the King of the Mat at Windsor High School, Petaluma’s Ed Berncich avenged a previous loss to a wrestler from Spanish Springs, NV by pinning him and taking 1st place at 285 lbs. Trojan Gavin Jones took 8th place at 126 lbs. @EdBerncich @JustGusPD @kodoherty22 @LondonSundell
