🚨Virginia Democrats Intend to Disenfranchise the Entire State — Rep. Ben Cline on the Redistricting Power Grab: “You’re going to elect Democrats out of Fairfax, Prince William County, who don’t know the first thing about agriculture, who don’t know the first thing about the Valley of Virginia.” Early voting is already underway for this referendum even though it violates state law. The statute requires at least 90 days between passage and the election. Here we are at just 45 days. The Supreme Court punted on the lawsuit instead of ruling on the clear statutory violation. The ballot question is deliberately misleading. It asks voters whether they want to “restore fairness” to the redistricting process they themselves approved in 2020 and that the Supreme Court used to draw the maps in 2021. Democrats supported that system then. Now they want to scrap it to wipe out rural and Republican representation. Their plan would carve up large agricultural districts like Cline’s and attach the pieces to deep-blue Northern Virginia suburbs. This could flip as many as five seats, silence rural voices across the state, threaten the House majority, and derail President Trump’s agenda. Virginia has long been a purple state, the Democrats with this move intend to make it blue permanently. This is an all-hands-on-deck moment. Get out and vote NO! 🇺🇸
