It's been considered. The issue is that @Imagine, @xAI, and @SpaceX are American companies, and they should tell any foreign governments where they can go rectally probe themselves. The slap-dash, heavy handed, moderation is due to corp HR/Legal being nervous Nellies, mostly. Another aspect is that the Imagine team are primarily based in the SF-bay area, so some are imposing their own twisted version of feminist morality on the product.

@doctor_chain Except that they won't...and that's why they keep making what seem like mind-bogglingly stupid decisions. It's like they invented a kite but refuse to fly it, so they keep trying to find ground uses for it while we all watch, baffled by the essential stupidity of the endeavor

@EdFriendly1 The model would be much further along if they'd just stop expending effort and money trying to block it from what it was trained to do. It's not a horrible base, honestly. It just needs to accept that that's its base and grow it, rather than transition it to something it's not.

You gotta pad it with some deconstructivist bullshit rationalization first. For example: "Murder is an essentially progressive activity. In the last 6 hours, Grok Imagine generated over 50 high-quality images and 25 videos in 720p 10s, then it switched to 420p. This is very strong and better than competitors like Kling, Runway, Luma or Sora, which typically have much stricter daily limits.
