@WBJMItch The two main weakness of the team last year imo were pass rush and stopping the run which is why Bain to me makes sense as the pick.

@KSzn2021 I'm not even convinced he is better, especially value wise

The Kirk Cousins news is an absolute nothing burger. I’m sure they had some sort of interest but he wasn’t going to do much for the team more than Jacoby would. Is he better? Sure I guess but not by much and he’s at the end of his career.

@jokomo13 Hope Monti goes edge first, we need some pass rush juice

The Cardinal Rule | AZ Cardinals Analysis
Folks who are familiar with my draft analysis and "The Almighty Chart" know that I am keen on looking at past draft patterns to help predict how Monti Ossenfort will approach upcoming drafts. I recently built on that analysis with this table. Details in the 🧵⬇️

@jokomo13 Didn't sign any edge players in free agency either I think?

I think this means that the Cardinal won't take an OT at pick 3, but rather will opt for a defensive player, or trade back and take Freeling later. I think it's more likely, however, that the Cardinals take an OT on day 2, like Markel Bell. (10)

@jokomo13 Yes, nearly all the late round players have still had a significant role. You definitely couldn't say that for some of the previous GM's picks.

Malik Willis was a fun idea and would’ve been a cool experiment I was down for but he wasn’t the perfect fit for MLF offense so I think it’s good to see monti didn’t just try to throw a crazy 💰 at Malik to try to save his job. I just hope they stick with Jacoby and get a rookie
K1SinceDay1@KSzn2021

With the QB options on the market I’d much prefer keeping Jacoby at QB and use the cap for the OL, DL and LB. I think he’s better than Jimmy G and Kirk Cousins at this point and he already has chemistry with our weapons.

@jokomo13 Yes, I'm assuming kyler won't be on the team. I just find it strange that people are suggesting replacements such as Cousins or Carr who in the balance don't even offer a significant upgrade over Jacoby.

In his book "Predictably Irrational" behavioral economist, Dan Ariely notes that humans have a tendency to overvalue those things we already possess or see as ours. This explains the crazy overvaluing of Tyson Bagent's trade value we've seen from Bears fans.

"Cardinals will make an in division trade of Michael Wilson and 2 2nd rounders for...Mac Jones" Bro they'd just keep Jacoby at that point and lose ethically.

Lol
Larry Krueger@sportslarryk

Matt is right. The laws of supply/demand tell you that #49ers will be getting numerous calls from pursuers of a Mac Jones trade. Here is what I would want in return: -From the Vikings: a ‘26th, 2nd, Jordan Addison, ‘27 3rd -From the Cardinals: Michael Wilson and ‘26 and ‘27 2nd rd picks -From the Raiders: a ‘26 2nd rd pick, Michael Mayer, ‘27 3rd rd pick. -From the Colts: Tyler Warren, Riley Leonard -From the Jets: Garrett Wilson -From the Steelers Zack Frazier, ‘26 2nd rd pick -from Dolphins: Jaylen Waddle, Chop Robinson,5th rd pick.

@WBJMItch He's old and mediocre though. Would rather just have Jacoby.

@KSzn2021 Raiders have better money and facilities and a better draft pick. Not much else better. They haven't been a good team for decades

Definitely not true. Just said the raiders weren’t WAY better. Slightly better yes WAY better absolutely not.

#Cardinals fans tried every way possible to say their HC opening was more attractive than the #Raiders lol

Good for Kwesi. NFL work culture is out of control. I would commonly work six or seven days a week as a member of the media team with the Cardinals. Crazy setup.
JPA@jasrifootball

𝗥𝗨𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗦: Former Vikings’ GM Kwesi Adofo Mensah took two weeks of paternity leave in 2023 after the birth of his first son, and many around the league were in disbelief that he did, per @DMRussini and @alec_lewis “In an NFL culture where many players, coaches, and executives proudly acknowledge missing the births of their children, taking time away to care for a newborn and support a partner remains uncommon. Among some rival executives and coaches, it was met with disbelief.” (H/T: @vikingzfanpage)
