End of an era for “A Beyond the Gates Fan”… and the beginning of a new chapter with @TeamBTGDavid. This account will remain primarily dedicated to Beyond the Gates, but also to other soap operas and to Heated Rivalry, a series I particularly love. Even though I find this second season of BTG quite uneven and imperfect, most of my posts will still focus on the soap. I may not follow it with the same passion as in its early days, but I remain a big admirer of the cast as a whole, as well as of characters and couples like Smitty & Martin, Anita & Vernon, and Nicole. In my view, the soap was at its strongest during its first four months, especially through the major family moments centered around the Dupree family, which really carry the show. I’ve gradually lost some of my enthusiasm with the development of characters like Ashley and Jacob, which I find unfortunate. I sometimes share critical opinions and may not always agree with certain writing choices, but I fully support the producers for succeeding in establishing a new soap in today’s television landscape. I’m also thinking about new features and new content ideas to evolve the account… Edit by @OltlD42
