Back In schools talking all about how we grow potatoes🥔 It wasn’t just me tho I was with @KidsCountryUK , the children made potato salad out of the potatoes they had grown and found out about beet root and salads👨‍🌾🚜

A very interesting day at @hillheadshow today, learning lots and seeing some huge kit working in the quarry. Lots fitted with @PerkinsEngines and @CaterpillarInc engines.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, as it’s hard to share the exciting things I’m doing at @CaterpillarInc @PerkinsEngines. But today I got a chance to do the Machine Appreciation Course and drive some kit on the proving ground - always fun to get behind the wheel again

A great few days in Peoria, Illinois on my first trip to @CaterpillarInc in my new role. A busy few days but thankfully found some time to look around the museum.

@fenboy01 I can’t answer that Luke, that will be a different division to me. I’m working with “advanced power” engines - so electric, hybrid, hydrogen etc.

Today marked my last day at @GrimmeUK @GRIMMEGroup after almost 12 years. I’m learnt so much, met many amazing people and travelled to some fantastic places. I will miss the business but on Monday I embark on my new challenge with @PerkinsEngines @CaterpillarInc

@EdHodson4 @GrimmeUK I'm always suprised by how manual everything is in Jersey. I know they have some very steep slopes, but I assumed they'd have a normal planter for the flatter fields. Is it due to the level of chitting?

My last time in Jersey representing @GrimmeUK before I move on to pastures new- this Island is a unique and a very special place and I will miss visiting it so regularly.

@SpudSlingsby @GrimmeUK Hand planting for the earliest crops with the biggest chits - but there are mechanical planters working too, but that tends to be for later harvested crops or seed.
