@droppedballs_fb Money to do more. With Key's contract on there, we still got $35 Million with 4 low dollar guys unaccounted for. Perhaps they hoard some cap money in case they can make a run at a trade at the trade deadline. Still haven't restructured much. Not a fan of Ballard doing void years.

@droppedballs_fb That overall draft looks like it was very weak after 3 seasons. Only got 1 guy with a Pro Bowl picked past the 3rd round. That's Puka picked in the 5th. Everybody whiffed on him. Only 4 in the 2nd and 2 in the 3rd. 1st round had some real good ones but after that, not so much.

Alec Pierce numbers finally showed up on the cap sites. Only a $9.5 Million cap hit in 2026. That makes the following 3 years really high at $35.2 in 27', $32.2 in 28' and 29' and $5.2 in void year 2030. Edge? Could try offering two 2nds and a player for Maxx.

@pucklefutz @droppedballs_fb Pierce contract has not been counted in that yet. No one has the details on it yet. That alone subtracts $20 Million. Key and Nnadi are also not yet listed on cap space sites. Those 2 are another $10 Million. So we are likely at $20 Million or less. Extensions could open more.

@droppedballs_fb @MalenkoMC Yeah, because of its importance, I'd suspect we go WR in the 2nd round and Edge in the 3rd. If there is an Edge they love switch it. If not, I think WR gets priority. Those late round picks, they'll be hoping to strike gold. Doesn't happen real often though.

The LB market is drying up. I have a hard time believing the Colts would go into next season with a rookie and our current LB room.

@droppedballs_fb Raiders have spent below the 3 year required threshold. So they are being required to get within $20 Million of the cap this year. This really just makes that easier. They got 5 recently added contracts that got to be accounted for but are $50 Million under the cap with Crosby.
