Many will not like reading this, but it's a fact. Having served 4 years on the Education Committee in the Virginia House of Delegates, I can tell you that there is no school district in the Commonwealth, no matter how rural or conservative, that Democrats are not trying to mandate indoctrination that runs contrary to your principles. Thats not hyperbolic, it's reality. They don't call it indoctrination, because they don't see it that way. They see it as correcting the mistakes of your parenting, which in their view is not "progressive or tolerant" enough. And since they don't have enough of their own kids to win elections, they need yours to "think correctly" about these things before they reach voting age. So in their view this is essential to "preserve our democracy." Make sense now? Now someone will read this and ask me "why didn't you fix it?" And the answer is simple...because we never had sufficient votes to get the legislation passed. It wasn't for lack of submitting bills and fighting for them, not a single Democrat would vote for any of it and as long as they controlled just one part of the legislative process they could prevent all of it, because thats how the system works. In my entire 10 years in the General Assembly there wasn't a single year where they didn't at least control one part of the process. But now nothing is preventing them...because they have the votes and they control the entire process.

I see a lot of punditries missing the forest as they peer intently at the trees. You know the real reason CIA whistleblower Eric Ciaramella's name was never permitted to be mentioned? Because the CIA tried to remove a sitting President from office. The point is being lost.

I represented Roberto Minuta in the 2nd Oath Keeper trial that began in early Dec. 2022 and ended in late January 2023. Roberto was convicted by a DC jury, and he was one of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys to have his sentence commuted to "time served" but not receive a pardon. We filed an appeal of his conviction, and that appeal is still pending in the Circuit Court of Appeal for the D.C. Circuit -- along with his 8 co-defendants. Just a few minutes ago the U.S. Attorney's Office in D.C. filed a Motion to Vacate Convictions, and For Instructions to Remand the matter to the District Court for dismissal of the indictment. This has happened today for all the Oath Keeper and Proud Boy defendants who were not given pardons on January 20, 2021. The End.

Regarding DOJ's move to dismiss the cases today against the remaining Oath Keeper and Proud Boy defendants: The "Seditious Conspiracy" counts were a farce on their face, and both Judge Mehta and Judge Kelly were wrong on their legal decisions ahead of the trial. They made decisions on "questions of first impression" that reflected their judgement -- and their judgment alone -- because there was no prior case authority regarding claims against U.S. citizens protesting the outcome of an election and whether that was an qualified as an attempt to "overthrow" the government. Judge Mehta admitted as much on the record, and acknowledged that whether he got the decision right would be determined by other judges in the appellate process. He was just one judge -- others might disagree. The Govt's case was a complete concoction -- it cherry-picked facts and IGNORED contrary facts. The most glaring example was the testimony of the lead FBI Case Agent. When asked how many people had been interviewed who possessed some information about the Oath Keepers, he said "More than 100." When asked how many of "confidential informants" with ties to the Oath Keepers, he said approximately 10. When asked "How many told you the Oath Keepers had a plan to take over the Capitol on Jan. 6 to prevent Congress from counting the electoral votes for Biden?" his answer was .... "None." But the Biden DOJ/FBI didn't let a little detail like that slow them down. I could call out the five AUSAs by name who put that piece of sheet case together .... But they know who they are.

Woah! Looks like there's a small language change that actually makes any semi-auto that has a magazine capable of holding more than 15 rounds an "assault firearm." This is actually a massive expansion of the definition. It appears to override the later definitions in the bill.

@StephenGutowski All magazine fed pistols have the capacity to hold more than 15 rounds as do all magazine fed rifles I don’t think this was their intent but they don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt here because lawful gun owners also won’t be extended any.
