Strongly disagree here. Expanding to 48 teams has actually resulted in FEWER upsets. With the bigger pool, the big teams can escape many dark horses and play easier sides. How many real upsets have we seen this summer? Germany's losses & Cape Verde tying Spain. #FIFAWorldCup

I’d rather see England win the World Cup than my team win the treble. The whole country united. I can’t even begin to imagine the scenes. It’s like preferring your birthday over Christmas.

I know it’s basically the law for Scots to support the team which plays against England. But with it being Argentina, can you make an exception this time?

“We are Belgium. We are not England. We are not Spain. We are not France. We are a small country of not even 12 million people.” Thibaut Courtois responds to the notion that the Golden Generation has fallen short. They’ve usually lost to a traditional power at this stage.

Goes without saying football and politics shouldn't mix in this way. However, nothing wrong with Lara's view here. I actively cheer for any team playing against Dunfermline because I'm a Falkirk fan. Same goes for Scotland fans because England are our rivals.
