The Trump Admin’s higher education reset is driving real institutional change—not band-aid fixes. Under the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, institutions can no longer raise tuition to outrageous levels and must now demonstrate a real return on investment for their programs.

President Trump and I share a core conviction: the best education is closest to the child.     Responsibility and authority should start there—parents first, then teachers, states, and finally the federal government.

Kentucky @GovAndyBeshear just vetoed a bill to opt his state in to the Education Freedom Tax Credit, claiming it would “divert students and dollars from public education.” Governor, that’s not how this works. This is a surge of dollars into education, not diverting from anyone.
