@rachbarnhart @votemorelle I’ll add the third question to your list: did the petitioner collect the minimum number of good signatures per the primary rules. This should be a yes or no answer.

Questions for @votemorelle 1. Did you or anyone on your staff speak to BOE officials about Walker's status on the ballot? 2. Did you, Joe Jr., staff members or Greenberg Traurig speak to the DA about Walker's petitions? If so, whom did you tell? If not, did you tell people you would? Who?

@EdShelly1 @rachbarnhart Yes. One is a hoax. The other is a cartel that has less impact now that the USA is the #1 oil & gas producer. If you think demand for oil will subside due to 'green' energy or EVs, you don't know the laws of physics.

@bluerailff @MCaceci @rachbarnhart You make no sense Sally. You don’t have to buy adjustable seats . If you think solving the “blind spot” problem is extravagant, brush up on auto safety stats.

@EdShelly1 @MCaceci @rachbarnhart Does my car need to have tech to tell me there’s a car next to me? Or that it might be time to pull over and have coffee bc the car in front of me made a right on red and I didn’t move since I’m going straight? I can live without auto adjusting seats programmed to a key fob..

@EdShelly1 @rachbarnhart Did I mention safety features? No. But fuel economy standards drive up costs to make & repair due to special plastics to lighten weight. There's that stupid engine idle cut-off switch. Some emissions standards are also likely too strict.

@mattmolloy can you be a little more precise than a camera shot of an empty field someplace “in the central city”. Put a little effort into it!

@rachbarnhart @EdShelly1 First, with all the gov't mandated extras on cars, combined with consumer demand for tech, cars cost more. And why do people trade in a car before it's paid off? That's the dumbest thing to do. The dealer must bury the loan balance into the new monthly payment!

@rachbarnhart No bad faith on my part that I know of. I do know people buy cars they can’t afford everyday. This is not news.

@EdShelly1 This feels like a bad faith question but here goes - it’s not sustainable for people who need to drive. The cost of cars is getting extremely expensive.

@rachbarnhart The fact she’s 400 signatures short doesn’t mean anything to you. How should the BOE handle that

Today the NYS BOE will rule on a petition challenge filed against one of Morelle's opponents. She allegedly only submitted less than 800 good signatures, short of the 1250 needed. No fraud alleged. Just lots of non-Democrats signing. Pretty straightforward. But Morelle didn't file the challenge - a Wilt surrogate did. I point this out to say Morelle actually doesn't care about ballot integrity - keeping a third opponent on ballot helps his chances. Lots of hypocrisy there as his machine leads aggressive effort to bounce an Irondequoit board candidate.

@EdShelly1 Civilian review boards are not the same - and have been pretty longstanding. Rochester used to have one.

@ByMHarrington It the NHL. They don’t know how to get out of their own way. When Bettman took over, the NHL had national tv contracts and they were firmly the 4th major league in NA. Now the Stanley Cup finals

He has gotten little pushback on this issue, which is astonishing to me. If the owners got together, it would change. He's clearly telling them why it's good and they're listening (and truth be told, buildings are full and TV ratings are good, and owners like those two things).
Paul Martello@PaulMartello40

@ByMHarrington Doesn’t the commissioner work for the owners? Can’t the owners get involved and force him to make the change to the playoff format? I just don’t understand why Bettman has the soul discretion to do what he wants in this case.

@EdShelly1 I would just like transparency. The subsidies went beyond stadium expenses. I don’t think we’ll get guarantees.

I read Rochester Community Baseball's shareholder report, and it's clear to me the last two stadium lease amendments passed by the legislature were bailouts. Of course, they weren't framed that way at all. 1/
