Thank you to Riddhi Setty and @CJR for including us along with the other unions fighting to protect ourselves and our organizations from misuse of AI! cjr.org/analysis/fight…
One theme of our rally was management's proposal on grievances and arbitration. We're pleased to announce that our pressure worked! We have a tentative agreement that's fair to employees and ensures the eventual contract is honored. Thank you all for your support!
It seems like every week another news organization rolls out an AI project and gets mass public backlash. EdSource needs a newsroom AI policy that ensures we can use new technology strategically while protecting our work from serious hazards.

We're holding a rally tomorrow, April 15, at noon Pacific to support our contract campaign! You can register to attend or watch on Instagram Live, Twitch, and other streaming platforms. We need your help to get a fair contract and we can't wait to see you there!

We have an update: Our union, @EdSourceGuild, has been voluntarily recognized! We look forward to working with management to create the conditions we need for all of us to succeed. #EdSourceGuild
