Several years ago Mitch McConnell came to my house and spent an hour trying to get me to commit to fundraising for him. I never raised him one red cent. By the way, his car ran over my shrubs, tore up my irrigation line, and left a skid mark on my driveway on the way out.

@RealThomSieloff The State of Illinois center James Thompson building on Randolph in the Chicago loop. Basically heart of downtown. A lesson we taught our kids is that Christmas was not just about receiving but also about giving. Living out our faith by example. So gratifying & biblical to do.

@RealThomSieloff Very gracious thing and a great example! Just prior to Christmas one year we took our children downtown Chicago to feed the homeless & needy! We brought coats, blankets, gloves, hats & shoes and rescued one person and took them in at our home! He got a job, car & serves @ church.
