@CSUF_EdTech A5: They focus on how to use tech to critically think and collaborate with others to ensure inclusivity. Knowing how to review literature & collaborate with peers to create inclusive materials for all students can be transferred to any new tech. #csufedtech #Edtechmasters #edtech

@CSUF_EdTech A5 Tech is everywhere and in our daily lives. This program is relevant and you get to use the materials you create in your very own classroom. Professors as awesome and supportive. You also get small pay bump. It’s a win win for me. #csufedtech #edtech

@mrsviramontes20 Yes, I agree. I offer suggestions as well. This year some found other sites and we compared those to the information given on the sites I suggested and we noticed that the information wasn't all that accurate! Or in kid-friendly language. #csufedtech

A4: We can help students become critical consumers by allowing students to explore different applications and websites that are valuable in their learning. I like to use projects where they have to find information online. #csufedtech #socialmedia

@CSUF_EdTech A4: Metacognition is a skill that’s often overlooked. When we say critically think, we’re using an expert blind spot and skipping to think about HOW we think and WHY. Lessons to foster metacognition would be crucial in this process. #csufedtech #socialmedia

A3. AI is here whether we like it or not. Use it and don't admit it- - is considered plagiarism. As an instructor, it is actually pretty easy to spot if you have or not. We always ask yfor explicit connections to our course activities. #csufedtech #AIinEducation

@MrMillerEDTech2 @CSUF_EdTech Yes...check it out! They have an adult version too. They tell the story of a person's life without telling you who it is. It is fun trying to figure it out. I think it would be a great idea for students to recreate it in some capacity. #csufedtech

@EdTechErin @CSUF_EdTech No, I have not, but I will check it out. I used 6 minutes when I taught sixth grade last year. The kids loved it because they can relate to it more because it was more of upper grade podcast.

@mrsviramontes20 You're right, Melody! Next week we will play around with AI, and it will be a great way to think through how we might approach student use. #csufedtech

A3: AI is free for anyone to use, so I think eventually, as educators, we will have to use this as a tool for our students to implement in their learning. I think it’s going to open the door for many people. #csufedtech #informationalliteracy
