tomorrow I have to do my longest training open water swim yet and then it’s time to jump on a plane to Germany for a couple of days, then Switzerland before coming home for the dreaded truck MOT ( we all know how that’s going to go) & straight into a day of event hosting at

Omg this half term has been immense. I knew it was going to be. I spent most of Easter hols worried that id taken on too much and wasn’t sure how I’d manage it all but manage it all I have. Need to muster up energy for today so the kids don’t notice just how shattered I am then

what is the actual point of KS2 SATs? Do you think they’re a true and accurate reflection of a child’s learning? Or an expensive test designed to catch kids out, a stick to beat schools with and discriminate against children with particular send needs?

Morning folks - this morning continues to be ultra busy and then after lunch I'm hoping to take stock. It's been a week where I've also been temporary exams manager and trying to navigate some tricky situations at the same time. It's been exhausting

Morning folks - yesterday was unbelievably hectic! I think today will also prove to be so! And I think there will be a wet break thrown in just for good measure!

@keith_campion I think that might just be councils in general! Or perhaps even some consultations! Funnily enough I have had a good experience with CW but this is another council and I really need to get guidance now from someone that knows how councils ‘should’ operate!

@EdadventuresM If you’re talking about Cheshire West, they are great at public consultations, then completely ignoring what anyone thinks.

Genuinely interested in experience. Does everyone else’s council operate in a way whereby they operate in a clique? Only commissioning the same people in that clique to work on projects that seem to just be created by that clique? It’s become really obvious now. Where else?
