@iamAbode@OmoAfolaPose That's so absurd! That's why many women end up being disrespected by such men who think since they bought you they can treat you anyhow they see fit. Such fathers and pimps are no different at all. So sad
@OmoAfolaPose 😂😂 Most pastors in Nigeria are like that. 🤣 Even the faithful guy in his church can not marry his daughter. Except if your family has money.
On Sunday, during service, the pastor asked all the unmarried men to stand up. I stood with them. He then asked the single ladies to stand, and they did.
While they were standing, my eyes caught one very beautiful lady. I asked the guy beside me about her, and he told me she is the pastor’s daughter.
Immediately, I quietly returned to my seat.
The pastor noticed and asked why I sat down. I told him I was no longer single because I had just seen my life partner. The whole church shouted “Hallelujah.”
The pastor, looking pleased, handed me the microphone to point out who I was talking about. I pointed at his daughter.
The church went completely silent for a few seconds.
He quickly took back the microphone and asked the church to pray against any evil spirit trying to attack his family.
Up till now, I still stand in front of my mirror wondering how I suddenly became a demon in that man’s eyes.
@Hipsy_afya Of course. This is what we call being a good planner. If you know you have work for the week, prepare all those meals and portion them. That's why you have a fridge in your house. Keep them so as you don't do every meal from scratch. Plan your time well. NO EXCUSES!
@ummuh_Zahra You are not confused. You very well know what you are doing. Couldn't you tell that guy that you are a married woman? Some of you women call the devil onto yourselves then start claiming the victim. Please if you don't want your husband, let him be instead of cheating.
So I got married last year to the man who sponsored my education. Have no kids yet though. Thanks to him, today I work as a government teacher in a secondary & high school. I actually just got recruited to this school where I teach Geography.
But please, I'm confused. There's this particular guy, actually a male colleague of mine. He has been working here as a Biology teacher for 6 years. Since I arrived & started work, he has been so nice to me, guiding & showing me around, buying me gifts too, and keeping me company so I don't feel alone since I'm new. We got so close after a month. I don't know, but I just really feel so comfortable & safe with him, even more than my husband. I love his company. If I'm to be honest, I feel like I can share & tell him everything.
Even my husband doesn't get me gifts like this guy does. He is such a kind & gentle man, i must comment, he truly knows how to treat a lady but something about his behavior, actually changed recently. Which leaves me confused. He switched from food gifts & started getting me underwear, bras, and perfumes. Even on 'Teachers Day' he bought me same gifts. This has actually been going on for about 2 weeks now. Please people, this keeps me wondering if it's okay that i keep collecting these gifts. Considering the fact that, I'm a married woman.
Truth is, we've been so close, and I don't know how to go about rejecting these gifts since he is actually doing it with pure intentions, with no strings attached, and he's been so nice to me ever since I got here. I plead for your advice & guidance 🙏
@Userhatesbigots@SpeedLensGuy@Johnlaban256 No am not poor. I just don't like someone touching my plate without permission. The critical thinking you are talking about is you asking yourself if it were you and this was done to you, would you allow it... respect others just as you want to be respected. That's all!
@Userhatesbigots@SpeedLensGuy@Johnlaban256 It's not about the food. The etiquette of dining is the issue here. YOU DO NOT TOUCH ANYONE'S FOOD WITHOUT CONSENT! This level of entitlement is crazy! If you want to try his meal, ask. We are in a civilized society.
@DeeSandy20 My dear, the reason they ask is because the goals that you set. If you are to get there, they too have to put an effort to realize that goal(s) set. So they are right to ask why so as to know a way forward. They too mind their reputation. A trainer who doesn't care is the worst
Dear gym instructors, if I fail to come to gym don’t ask too many questions. You don’t need to know anything about my personal life and business.
Your job is to be sure I paid for gym before you give me your time .
I’m on my 3rd gym now because of y’all nosiness 🙄😏
This woman sat the whole family down at a family dinner last week.
She looked straight at her sister and said,
"You remember that 'business trip' our dad took when we were kids? that he didn’t come back alone, but came back with a 5-year-old boy and claimed it was his long dead brothers son and we've been paying for his school fees in secret for 15 years."
The table went dead silent. Her sister started crying.
Turns out the "nephew" they have all been spoiling is actually their half-brother.
Some family secrets aren't buried they're being funded every month.
@0xjabdul@NasheCeezet_zw Sometimes our fathers calculate things based on previous incidents that took place and how the situation was perceived and handled. So if he came clean, the horror of the aftermath wouldn't have been pleasant. So they decide to come up with some weird scenarios to shock absorb
@mrmikeMTL Simple, asked permission to go visit them. Walked all the way or rode bikes to go see them and rode back home that is if they were close by.
