Rural confidence is at its highest point since 2017. This was made clear to me this morning when I spoke at the Dairy Sector Parliamentary Breakfast this morning. Once again, New Zealand’s farmers are leading our economic recovery. And National has helped them by cutting red tape and by allowing them to get on with what they’re the best in the world at doing. Thank you to all of these great Kiwis that do so much for our economy and our country.

@WheatWatcher Not saying it should be bottled and sold hundreds of KM's away but I lived on raw milk for almost 40 years. Only time I ever got food poisoning was from a bakery attached to a fruit 'n' veg shop 🤷♂️

@stationmum101 Mow the barley grass weekly while it's seeding to keep heads from setting.
Dicamba/MCPA brew on the Caltrop, can sterilise setting seeds as well as kill. Throw in some 24-D if you're worried but it's normally overkill.

Farmer near us sold off small block with a wrecked house to his mate. Mate is a shit driver always on the wrong side of the road. Went to farmers 90th and old mate starts quizzing me about our paddocks. Now I know why he’s on the wrong side of the road all the time he’s snooping

@agvocate_au @VicFarmers Around here they have been busy resealing portions of the same sections they resurfaced on the cheap 12 months ago. Almost all cases this has been between sections that are actually in even worse condition and within 100 meters of the work they were doing.

Roads spend Vic 22/23 $200 M Roads spend Vic 23/24 less than $40M. So a high level of high level gvt officials knew back at July 2023 that money wouldn't be spent. Where did the $ from sale of VicRds registration arm go then ?
