@dieworkwear I miss my @eddiebauer field watch. I received it for Christmas 1990 I think and they had a lifetime warranty on battery and crystal replacement. I guess they meant the small company's lifetime as they stopped and trying to find batteries and watch repair became hard.

Casual watches I think are cool: — Affordable: Swatch jellyfish, automatics, or skin series. Or Casio GW-M5610U-1, which is slightly smaller than the typical G-Shock. — Rugged: Khaki Hamilton or a mid-century military watch. Second photo shows the "dirty dozen," which members of the British military wore during WWII to fight Nazis. Lemania's RAF monopusher chronograph is also cool. — Slightly offbeat: Seiko World Timer ref 6217-7000 released for the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Or the IWC x Porche compass watch, which has a hidden compass and mirror. Cool 1980s vibes. — Pricey, but nice: The smaller ~39mm Omega Speedmaster or Rolex 1016 with a gilt dial.

@eddiebauer nice backpack of yours that I bought a week ago, but one of the sternum straps has fallen off and now I can't buckle it across. My previous Eddie Bauer backpack had the sternum straps sewn into the shoulder straps so that they wouldn't fall off! Not too good!
