This is the story of Shilpa Pandit, who didn’t just overcome domestic violence but also led the way for other women in her community to combat such oppression. Joining CORO’s Ekal Mahila Sangathan, she received guidance from other members, finding strength in the SHG meetings. Such initiatives are reflective of EdelGive’s belief – Human Rights and Women’s Rights aren’t different from the other. Our vision, informed by the ideals of Right to Access, Income enablement and Grassroots Leadership, aims to establish an environment where gender is no bar for equal opportunities, because identity is meant to liberate, not restrict.

What happens when the very soil that feeds our communities begins to lose its strength? In India, decades of intensive farming, unpredictable monsoons, and soil erosion have left many fields depleted, posing a threat to both crops and livelihoods. Across regions, farmers are turning to traditional solutions—reviving indigenous seeds, planting diverse crops, and using soil-conserving techniques—to restore fertility and resilience.
