Join me in congratulating Dr. Muhammad Asim Javed on successfully defending his PhD, the first in the lab! 🎉 Since joining us in 2022, Asim has done incredible work, including building a reference genome for Plasmodiophora brassicae and leading global population and pangenomic efforts for this pathogen. A major contribution to the field coming later this year (or next 😅 if reviewer and editors don’t help). But beyond the science, it’s his dedication, growth, and passion that truly stand out. And… I’m not ready to let him go just yet 😊 Asim will stay with us as a postdoc until the next big step (and I’m sure it will be something amazing) 👏 #ProudPI

I’ve always believed the No.1 application of AI should be to improve human health. That work started with AlphaFold, and now at @IsomorphicLabs with the mission to reimagine drug discovery and one day solve all disease! We are turbocharging that goal with $2.1B in new funding.
