Interpolation ruins artistic intent, destroys dynamics and impact and turns animation to be something it wasn't . No company would use it on their own animations, it's only liked by 13 year olds who think higher fps = better.

Animation is always done in 24 fps, this video post processed the episode by using interpolation to make it 60 fps which causes artifacting.

There's a difference between smear frames/warping and ai artifacting. No artist would draw a frame like in the og post. It morphs, blends and congeals in a way that no one would draw in.
