It was great to drop in to the vital work being overseen by the team at Youth Café, Penrith. PCSO 5133 Larmour enjoyed hearing about the positive activities on offer for the young people who attend.

PCSO 5133 raised awareness of Bonfire & Fireworks Anti-social behaviour with year 9 at Ullswater Community College, Penrith. Our aim is to help keep communities safer.

PCSO 5133 Larmour addressed yr8 pupils at Ullswater Community College, Penrith, on the subject of Halloween & Bonfire Night Anti-social Behaviour.

Thank you to staff at Penrith Library who always look after the PCSO and provide a warm reception for the regular Drop Ins. Additional Drop Ins at varying locations and times will be advertised when confirmed.

Thanks to members of the public who alerted PCSO 5133 to an abandoned rucksack on Devonshire street, Penrith. Upon inspection it contained nearly a dozen bottles of alcohol which were subsequently removed from the streets ahead of the Saturday evening economy.

The Winter Droving Event may have been cancelled due to wind forecast but PCSOs remain out in all conditions, and there were no cancellations to Hot Spot Patrols this evening in Penrith town.

PCSOs from Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team, together with Cumbria Fire & Rescue Service, conducted an anti-social behaviour operation this evening at Penrith Town. Thank you to McDonalds Penrith management for providing food to the young people who attended the presentation.

PCSOs 5133 Larmour & 5398 Robson delivered an input on Halloween & Bonfire Safety at Penruddock school, and the pupils demonstrated their learning with a knowledge check at the end.

PCSO 5133 was impressed by the listening and questions from pupils at Kirkby Thore school during a presentation on Halloween and Bonfire Safety.

Hot spot policing has been shown to be effective in both preventing incidents and in community reassurance. PCSOs 5133 Larmour and 5454 Baker were engaged in this meaningful police role tonight within areas of Penrith town.

PCSO 5133 Larmour visited a meeting of Eden District Talking Newspaper, where he was privileged to observe a recording taking place and to speak with dedicated members of the team overseeing this vitally inclusive outreach to a vulnerable section of the community.

PCSO 5133 Larmour accompanied by PCSO 5454 Baker appreciated returning to Tebay school, on this occasion highlighting issues around Bonfire and Halloween Safety

PCSOs enjoyed an afternoon of positive engagement with residents of Carleton Hall Walk, Penrith, during a Community Clean Up and Bike Marking Session organised by the Local Focus Hub. Thanks to Riverside Housing for arranging skips for tenants to dispose of unwanted items.

PCSOs have been out and about this evening at Kirkby Stephen.

PCSOs will be conducting a drop in at Appleby library from 2pm-3pm today. Please use this opportunity to speak with us.

Penrith Neighbourhood Police delivered 'Parking Buddies' to Appleby primary school. Parking on double yellow lines is an offense and police will take appropriate action in dealing with it. This parking has endangered children recently as they have attempted to cross the road.
